Welcome!  The members of the Mu Kappa Omega Chapter thank you for visiting our website.

Established in 1978, the Mu Kappa Omega Chapter has been a premier service organization, carrying out the mission and purpose of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. We are the local chapter of an international organization with more than 49,000 active members, and a member chapter of the South Central Region.

Mu Kappa Omega has a proud history of providing programs and services to the communities of Fort Bend County and the Greater Houston area. Since its inception, we have awarded over $100,000 in scholarships to deserving area students and continuing educational scholars, executed in partnership with Julia F. Thompson, Incorporated, a 501 c 3 organization. To learn more about the activities in which Mu Kappa Omega is involved, please visit our Programs page, which highlights our Extraordinary Service Program.

As a service-oriented organization, we welcome your participation in our many community-based activities.  If you are an active or inactive member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, we invite you to visit our chapter.

Please explore our site, learn about our mission, and see how the Power of Mu Kappa Omega is Making a Difference Every Day Through Economic Growth, Supreme Service and Community Partnerships.
