Mu Kappa Omega Receives Awards at the 79th South Central Regional Conference

Mu Kappa Omega was honored to receive the recognition at the 79th South Central Regional Conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico held on March 31 - April 3, 2011.  The theme of this year's conference echoed the sorority's national program.  Members in attendance at the conference participated in a variety of scheduled sessions and workshops.

The awards were:

1st Place - Matellia B. Grays Leadership Development Award - Yvette Mitchell

2nd Place - Mary Louise Williams Guiding Star for Public Service Award - Monica Green

2nd Place - Jacqueline O. Dansby Educational Leadership Achievement Award - JFT, Inc.

1st Place - Soror of The Year- Vivian Grant

2nd place - Reactivation:Reclaim Our Sorors Award

2nd Place - Chapter of the Year

2nd Place - Outstanding Graduate Chapter Program
